Niseko's most fashionable boutique shop
FERA has a long history of delivering innovative, beautiful and perfectly fitting performance apparel. FERA began in 1978 when founder Betty Tung realized the burgeoning American ski industry lacked high quality fashion skiwear at accessible prices. With a background in chemical engineering, Betty combined fabric science with garment know-how learned from her father, F.Y. Wong, the leading manufacturer of ski apparel in Hong Kong at the time. Betty's vision was to make functional apparel that combined quality, style and gorgeous fit - in short, look good, feel good clothing.
FERA grew rapidly and earned a reputation for beautiful ski apparel and well-cut pants, winning numerous awards. Sleek stretch pants and innovations like slim bonded insulation took snow fashion to another level. Iconic Meister sweater coordinates completed the relaxed alpine look. From these skiwear roots, we have evolved into a collection of clean, modern pieces for both on and off the slopes.
FERA’s Perfect Fit® pants are the go-to of celebrities and active women in the know, while FERA’s outerwear combines elegance with performance. The Meister brand features knitwear that masterfully blends novelty and heritage. Drawing inspiration from runways, street style and our own active lives, we continue to innovate and engineer garments that make you look and feel great.
FERA continues to be an independent, family owned business under the leadership of Betty’s children, Eric and Patty. Avid skiers, outdoor enthusiasts and urban explorers, they are extending FERA’s design principles, engineered fit and modern aesthetic into leisure/active apparel for effortless style and versatility all year round.
